Did he? I seem to recall a bit of controversy surrounding Obama’s oath of office.
Now that you mention it - he took it, and then re-took it in the WH privately. I’ll look it up. Snips of articles. Now I remember, it was tossed around that Roberts may have made a mistake as he was nervous, knowing that 0vomit was fraudulent and not a citizen. Many in DC knew.

Out of “an abundance of caution”, Barack Obama has taken the oath of office a second time because a word was out of sequence when he was sworn in on Tuesday.
The surprise move came after Tuesday’s much-noticed stumble, when the US supreme court chief justice, John Roberts, jumbled the words, prompting Obama to follow suit.
According to the US Constitution, the president must solemnly swear “that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States”. But on Tuesday, Obama said: “I will execute the office of president of the United States faithfully.”
The White House counsel, Greg Craig, said the repeat was motivated by “an abundance of caution,” and the White House insisted Obama has been president since midday on inauguration day – ignoring those who suggested that because the ceremony ran late, the country may technically have been without a president for a few minutes.
Unlike the bungled oath – which was delivered on the Capitol Hill platform before the watching world – yesterday’s repeat performance took place in the White House map room in front of a small group of reporters.
On Tuesday, Obama was sworn in with his palm on the same velvet-covered Bible used by Lincoln in 1861, but he had no bible with him at the re-run.

This time, the scene was the White House Map Room in front of a small group of reporters, not the Capitol platform before the whole watching world.
“We decided that because it was so much fun ...,” Obama joked to reporters who followed press secretary Robert Gibbs into the room. No TV camera crews or news photographers were allowed in.

In fact, come to think of it, Ive known many with brain injuries that developed para/pedo homo/pan issues. If Joe was a creeper in college then it may jave actually happened earlier in life something like when someone develops an unusually bad case of chicken pox then develops encephalitis which causes some degree of global damage. The person can seem wuite normal afterwards but doesnt quite see and interpret the world in the same way the rest of the world does. That would be worth digging if we could get his records.
Another hearing today in NY for the NXIVM defendants.
Highlights:
- The judge is reluctant to delay the trial more than a week to 10 days; doesn't want to delay a month. Cites incarceration of Raniere as a reason to move things along.
- Allison Mack and Kathy Russel are heavy into plea negotiations. I think Kathy might go scot-free but Mack is undoubtedly looking at at least some time.
- Clare Bronfman might be working on a plea deal. I say this because last month she used Avenatti and Geragos to negotiate with DOJ to reduce her sentence if she provides information on other criminal(s) the Feds are interested in. DOJ declined and now Avenatti is fired from Clare-bear's legal team.
- Keith Raniere is almost certainly not negotiating.
- Jury selection is still scheduled to start this coming Monday. The jury questionaire is here.
- Prosecutors confirmed that the child porn and child exploitation charges are being dropped from this case. That should mean they'll go to the Northern District of New York (NDNY) for consideration to prosecute. I'm confident they will prosecute and that others may get new indictments served in addition to the current defendants.

That should mean they'll go to the Northern District of New York (NDNY) for consideration to prosecute.

The child porn and sexual exploitation of a minor charges were officially dismissed and moved over to the Northern District, where it appears they will be vigorously prosecuted.

I haven’t ranything specific. As far as I know the parents are still being charged with 1 count of child abuse and AZ DCS still won’t give their kids back.
