NEW YORK (AP) The Rolling Stones are postponing their latest tour so Mick Jagger can receive medical treatment.
The band announced Saturday that Jagger was told by doctors he cannot go on tour at this time. The band added that Jagger is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.
No more details about 75-year-old Jaggers condition were provided.
The Stones No Filter Tour was expected to start April 20 in Miami. Other stops included Jacksonville, Florida; Houston; the New Orleans Jazz Festival; Pasadena and Santa Clara in California; Seattle; Denver; Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia; Foxborough, Massachusetts; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Chicago; and Ontario, Canada.

Come on stage with walkers or electric wheelchairs? Give it up- because to be sure in all those bucks are loop tape tracks. The time keeper? Chuck Leavell-— the beat counter comes on the stage monitors to match the playback augment. That’s one.
And now? AARP is going to cancel their sponsorship. What a shame. Clapton having to quit because of arthritis? That was a big milestone— he is a musician.. an artist, a student of the blues and rock.
Old and in the way. Listen to the records. Trini Lopez is 81 years old and still playing. Tony Joe White toured until he died, and played straight up- no tapes- every show. Died last year in October. Still singing great.
Am sooo tired of this hype, heroin, and bull crap. No where the talent of any number of fine American musicians.
And these are opinions, and not just mine. Weary- the sound track of the lib Left of the world. Take Knopfler any day, and frankly, the Eagles, and Joe Walsh on the US side.
The lifestyle of those old reprobates is all we need to know about their character. Stop trying to defend them.
Grow up. They were notorious for their reprobate lifestyle and debauchery. Conservatives shouldn’t be singing their praises. Stop making wicked celebrities your idols.
Good grief.
The Strolling Bones. How sad.
I agree.
Id go with Led Zepplin.
My post wasn’t about defending anybody’s lifestyle. Your post referenced the meaning of a particular song. My response was to that.
How old how old is that old dude now 80?
Keith Richards has been walking dead for decades

My guess is The Stone had stones.
I always liked DC5 music...and I was a YUGE Beatles, Stones, Who fan.
It’s a shame Dave Clark never allowed access to his tapes to have their albums remastered for better sound quality.
You saw them five times?? Wow! That would be amazing!
Ha ha ha! That is so cool! Yeah, I remember those years where I thought they were old fogies when they turned 40!
I wonder if they’re offering senior citizen discounts for the fans.......

It’s important to note that your contention is that the Stones do not actually PLAY THEIR INSTRUMENTS in their concerts.
That it’s all taped.
“No where the talent of any number of fine American musicians.”
And, their talent is questionable, with many American musicians eclipsing them.
I just want to summarize for posterity and review by the rest of the board here. Because those of us who have seen them live KNOW it’s not taped music and wonder how somebody like yourself could be so delusional.
They must have had somebody else play the instruments on their latest 2018 Grammy album...

Yeah, a bunch of fakers...
six
You know Chuck?
They are going to change their name to The Rolling Gallstones.
:) I hope he’s feeling better soon.
Informed opinion- and you are of course entitled to yours. There is such a thing as “long time gone”—which is imho, now. But, for grunts— who plays the intro on the original “Honky Tonk Women” (no, it’s not keith)?
Chuck came from the Allman Brothers (signed on, no longer guesting- the night after we heard him in Macon in ‘82)-an outstanding player, who still has something to say and play. Did you know Tony Joe White played shows right up until he died of a heart attack, a few miles from here— all his life a player, and no “posing”. American music, not import.
Here’s a contemporary great writer/performer, whom a colleague of mine treats (ENT- for singers)— a great writer/player(went on several iteration tours after Robert Plant intelligently refused the “reunion” Led Zeppelin, collaborated with Allison Krauss, was in Plant’s Band of Joy) and see in town when possible:
Darrell Scott- writer playing his “Long Time Gone”, solo— no tape:
