I have a S-I-L who is rabidly liberal. She tried to make our family give donations to a “good cause (liberal)” instead of exchanging Christmas gifts. Didn’t fly. Since then, all the Christmas presents she gives are leftwing crap. Calendars I don’t want where the proceeds go to a cause she likes. Knickknacks that are completely useless that are made by and support some liberal person/cause. Etc.

I truly think libs have little to no self-awareness in that they do not or cannot consider their schtik may not play well in certain company.
I have five siblings all of whom are conservative save for one sister (in the middle) who hates Trump and tends to run her mouth about it in front of us making for some edgy family gatherings. The Girl from F.L.A.K.E.
She is a CPA and works for a long-established accounting firm in our town whose ownership is fairly button-down, and the community/county is pretty conservative. But she posts lib BS crap on FB apparently with no regard to maybe a client of the firm being offended.
And I don’t get the fact that she sees personal tax numbers, tells us things are on the uptick but absolutely will NOT concede that just maybe Trump may have had a little something to do with that.
A dumbass. There’s one in every family.
