You’ll find that reference in Deuteronomy. It’s full of rules and dos and don’ts. The very first plumbing code is in there, too.

Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

A plumbing inspector had me look this up and recite it back to him fairly accurately before he would give me a FINAL sticker for this project I was managing.
