The day after Attorney General Barr released his four-page summary of the Mueller report, Fox News averaged more prime time viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined.
Not for nothing but, I’ll bet I can do a 20 minute infomercial that gets higher ratings...
“You can do it!!!”

That's *exactly* what I'm trying to figure out...
I would never want to be friends with anyone who’s politics are informed by the likes of Maddow or O’Donnell.
People like that are scary.
Quite a sizeable number I saw were gleefully enjoying Rachel Madcow crying in his microphone.
Kinda like the people who watched Star Trek Discovery just to watch the scene where Mike Burnham died.

Those words really capture our civilization. So many people get everything from TV (and now from social media as well), it is scary what they believe and what they are interested in.
Anyone who gets their information from TV news and Twitter is an idiot. And because there are so many people who do, we are now living in an Idiocracy.

I often ask myself how many of those viewers are in airports.
Yes we don’t know the breakdown of the ratings and how large the schadenfreude numbers are in all this.
The “news” (propaganda) channels ratings are useless for advertisers.
Why? Because (in addition to airports and other public areas) the sound is often off while the channels are on in many homes. In other homes the sound is on but the viewers are dogs and/or cats.
These channels do not get the “close attention” viewing that advertisers want—they are “background” channels in many cases.
Everybody was sick of it anyway, and no one will put up with a sequal.
And, if you break it down further, how many of those people are sitting in airports with nothing else on the tube?

I don’t understand the Maddow thingy. Maddow is just really out there.
CNN’s ratings are always horrendous.
The one to watch is MSNBC, as they have been the big gainer the last couple of years, with Maddow most notably challenging Fox’s numbers.
No new conspiracy. CNN will still be talking collusion and obstruction into 2020 and beyond. That is the viewer CNN is aiming for.
The problem for CNN though is the viewer they are aiming for like MSNBC better than them.
All CNN and MSNBC have going for them is Maddow on MSNBC. One hour from both channels and Maddow is up against Hannity who is now getting over 4 mil viewers a show.
Maddow has really helped to pull up MSNBC’s numbers overall. Right now Fox is up and the others down from the Mueller report fallout, but that is largely because our base is pumped and theirs, for now, is a bit dispirited.
Let’s just hope the hits keep on coming!
