To: Tired of Taxes
You're not missing much with the Garage Sale Mysteries (or any of Hallmark's mysteries) IMO. I've seen several of them because my wife watches them all the time. They are basically low-impact mysteries that play like recycled "Murder She Wrote" scripts. And just like Cabot Cove, Lori's idyllic little town (I call it "Hallmarkville") seems to have a murder every week.

My wife watches Hallmark because she likes movies and shows that are not overly tense. Hallmark produces the lightest-weight entertainment out there.

Agreed. Still, I do enjoy Hallmark-type movies sometimes. They serve as escapism for many of us - an escape from the Rated-R world. With that said, I probably wouldn't want to watch a show about murder.

And this college scam story reminds us all that these people are paid to pretend. It's difficult to ignore what they do in real life when watching them act.
