0utside the next election, most US Senators are never much concerned about anything except doing their masters bidding, seriously.
The ‘master’ is the same person, entity, group that backs both R and D candidates, so no matter what happens they get their guy, in most cases.
The public doesn’t know what goes on behind the scenes.

Most of them sure as heck didn’t seem to mind when Obama did it. Not a peep-zip-nada.
Pretty darn clear that these turn coats do NOT give a rip about citizens of USA. More likely they are beholden to the cheap labor express.
If they were really concerned about Executive Over Reach, the solution would be to change that law that they passed in the 70s.
