President Trump Hits Back Hard At TV Pundit Ann Coulter: “Wacky Nut Job”
Deadline ^ | March 9, 2019 | Bruce Haring

Posted on 03/09/2019 5:19:41 PM PST by conservative98

Trump has previously soft-pedaled his responses when asked about the criticism, saying that “I just don’t have the time to speak to her.” He also said she’s “off the reservation.” However, he’s avoided the full-throated attacks he’s mustered against other perceived enemies – until now.

She has been attacking President Trump non-stop! Last night was the first time she actually started attacking Republican leaders who are voting against him, and then, only Ryan and Mitch.

I read on Breitbart and blasted her many times for her hateful attitude towards President Trump. I’m not sure what this particular incident is about, but you can bet she deserved every bit of it.

“Would that have been completely, entirely legal? “

Yes, it would. 70-100,000 are being detained(most are being released into the interior never to be seen again) per month. Multiply that figure by 3-4 that don’t get caught by the border patrol...

That’s a quarter million future democrat voters and dependents of our stasi state per month. Staggering number.

"Coulter apparently has a new book coming out. She seems to get “Wacky Nut Job” every time she does."

I can't stand people who change their mind as often as they change their underwear. One day she's for something or someone, then the next she's condemning them. She changes with the weather, which to me means she's a very fickle and unloyal person. Only takes a stand if it will benefit her personally, and drops it when it doesn't pan out as she'd hoped. Her changes are so quick and drastic, that I bet she wakes up some mornings, and can't remember what side she was on the day before.

However feel his recent confrontations with Congress have been very poorly thought out and have been politically debilitating tactical failures.

They are not failures on Trump's part.

He's dealing with a political reality that is entirely out of his control. He must walk a fine line between fulfilling his promises and alienating a Republican Party leadership whose backing he needs to run again in 2020.

That's why he went out of his way to invite Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to those stupid meetings in the White House in December -- when neither one of them was in a majority leadership position in Congress. Trump knew damn well that he was never going to get the wall funded because Republicans didn't want to fund it. At that point, the only thing for him to do was stage this silly charade and make it look like it's the fault of the Democrats.

She's been saying things for awhile, but this is just from yesterday...

This Matt Schlapp is so creepy and his smile makes my skin crawl. He knows trump is a lunatic & psychopath but he rationalizes it as they're getting what they want. People like him are extremely dangerous #RealTime— 🎀 𝑀𝒶𝒾𝓈𝒽𝒶 𝓎𝒶𝓃𝑔𝓊 🎀 (@rehemaneema) March 9, 2019

Besides draining the swamp, stopping illegal and legal immigration is the only thing that matters. The left are on the cusp of taking over PERMANENTLY in America due to 3rd world riff raff voting in our elections. A 1000 years of darkness.

Time was of the essence 2 farking years ago. Instead of blasting Coulter, you should be holding PJDT’s feet to the fire unless you want to see a President Cortez in a few election cycles and America turned into Venezuela.

Constructive criticism is good. The personal vitriol she has been hammering Trump with is irrational.

She thinks he’s an imbecile and has said as much on various talk-radio shows that she has spoken on.

The validity and value of criticism depends not on the decorum or nature of the critic but what was in fact was noted and said. Coulter was not the only critic who wondered how such a biased Democratic bill that astonishgly contained authorization and funding for Democratic pet projects passed a Republican controlled House and Senate and was signed quickly by the President. There were and are many who felt that to “avoid a government shutdown” many voted for that bill without reading what experienced Democratic staffers put in it and the White House staff was equally negligent in not reading it thoroughly. Instead of advising the President to sign it, they should have wrote a clear speech outlining just why it had to be vetoed and Congress would have to reconvene.

I don’t believe for a minute that everybody inside the beltway didn’t what was in that bill.

The stinking piles of garbage bills that appear on President Trump’s desk come from someplace. Yet Coulter seems remarkably incurious about that. The fact is she knows supporting POTUS will not gain her the attention and media appearances that she craves. It’s that simple.

The fundamental issue is that whatever path POTUS takes he will not have the support of his own party. He is playing a weak hand regardless. Witness the near total radio silence from nearly every GOP Senator who will vote to support him on NEA. You would think they would advocate for a GOP POTUS they “support” but NOPE! They leave him bare behind to the wind and give the mavericks all the room they need to support the Democrat party while undermining POTUS.

Good analysis there! Trump promised us a wall. “A big, beautiful wall.” Not just sections of a wall, but a wall. All of us here know Trump can’t do it alone. But he let 2017 and 2018 slip by. Those were two golden years. So yeah, it’s not all - or even mostly - Trump’s fault. But the buck does stop with him. And in that Coulter is right.

2017? The GOP has lied to us for over 30 years about wanting to build a wall. Should it be any surprise they lied to POTUS for the last two?

If for whatever reason the wall is not built, he will not be reelected. chaos will follow for the American nation.

Coulter does a stunt every time her new book is coming out. She gets lots of free publicity. She is dumb like a fox. Since she has no ambitions to run for office, why not attack Trump whence a swift reaction is guaranteed. Without this stunt, no one would be talking about Ann Coulter.

Not just Trump but his son in law. Dozens and dozens of times. I realize Trump chose to put Jared there but at a certain point anybody will take it personal.

Exactly. If it becomes clear the GOP doesn’t want a wall GOP voter enthusiasm will crater for 2020 and POTUS will lose. Trump is herding cats now, basically.

She has attack Jared dozens of times. Maybe hundreds. Yet barely has a word to say about McConell and the open borders GOP donor class. I’m sure that has to irritate POTUS. It’s human nature.
