Although the NY Post limits the length of text you can paste here, I urge everyone to go to the URL and read this article in its entirety. You will instantly recognize the things I've been telling you about for months. They are true, and this article clearly states the horrors I had to face, and what my former colleagues who are still teaching have to face daily. Teachers are physically assaulted, tell teachers to suck various parts of their private anatomy, threaten violence to the teachers and the school, students are weaponized by vindictive principals appealing to their lower nature, and the ONLY people punished are the TEACHERS. No wonder many parents have told their kids, "If you major in education, I will not pay for your college."

NYC problems.

Normal places do not have even 1/10 of these problems. I hate to be unsympathetic, but oh well.

The fruits of a city - and a state - that has shaken their fist at God.

But they can’t connect their behavior to the values they’re being taught.

I predict soon the teaching profession will be a majority of foreign born instructors. More and more American born teachers will be worn down by the disrespect from students and lack of support from the administrations. These fed up, demoralized instructors will then leave these positions in ten years or much less.

There will be a big push to hire more instructors. Close to a panic. Some states will either reduce the requirement of testing for a license or waive the requirement at point of hiring completely. You could say “I will work at taking the test within my first eight years of teaching.”
There will also be greater use of robotics as teaching tools.
The robotic systems have no feeling programmed into them (yet).

School teachers do not have it easy.

Until society holds parents responsible for the upbringing of their children, schools and their teachers will be more and more overwhelmed with children nowhere near on academic grade-level and without behavioral self-restraint.

Our society has passed responsibility for child raising to the schools, and they are, of course, not equipped to do it. (Nor should they be.)

In the mean time, parents face ZERO consequences for terribly negligent parenting.

The teachers have little power. The politicians have decided that certain minorities will have all the power. They have the power to totally destroy any good teacher.

Then the “children” grow up and go into either the world of work, or the alternate world in which they are paid not to work. The suckers who actually work are made to pay those who don’t.

The suckers who work are blamed for all the problems in the world, while the parasites are given benefit after benefit, all paid for by the suckers who work.

I certainly believe this to be true. These same loser kids came into the military and caused chaos. We schwacked them and then kicked them out, most with a criminal record.

Sad but oh well.

Far less. My sister has been teaching math for over 40 years. She says many new teachers don’t hit the two year mark. Plus, they now leave mid-year instead of waiting for the end of the school year. They get so fed up, so ground down that they bail at any point during the year.

The system always blames the teachers and puts more demands and shackles on them. My sister always contrasts the administrative overhead and administrative demands from 40 years ago to what they have to do today. The micro-managing of teachers is just awful. And all the crap they prepare to satisfy the maw of management goes into some database and is never looked at by anybody.

As an “industry,” this is one that should have collapsed of its own inefficiencies and bad practices decades ago. Instead, like all good Democrats, they double down on bad policies.

Once children figure out they can get the teachers in worse trouble than they themselves will ever face, there’s no holding them back.

All they have to do is fabricate a racial taunt, a homosexual slur or a sexual assault accusation and the teacher will get fired and the kid will learn victimhood is a means to an end.

Good luck to your sister. She has my respect for staying in there. She should be close to retirement by now.
Some schools would ask her to stay on as an independent contractor,
since so few new teachers are ready to take her place.

“The fruits of a city - and a state - that has shaken their fist at God.”
Note the 110% correlation between these shi*thole cities and the People’s Democrat Party.

So are all student equally disruptive, rude and disrespectful?

Is there any correlation between this behavior and ‘equal outcomes’ in school discipline?

Students can only be expelled or suspended for wearing MAGA hats and Trump signs.

Physical assault and violent classroom disruptions must be tolerated for fear of lost Federal matching dollars.
