ADDENDUM: If you understand the concept of ‘face’, Trump has to do everything to make it appear that Kim is an equal negotiator, that he’s not just letting Trump walk all over him.
That means the appearance -even if a ruse - of making Trump WORK for this deal.
VERY good point - I hadn’t thought of that. Trump knows how to deal with people in a way so that they aren’t crushed to death even if they “lose”. (Unless of course they are derps...)
