haffast made the point that the thread is not made up of individuals...this thread is defined by the personalities that maintain the thread. You identify with that.
The survival of the thread has become the reason for the thread and the facilitator and moderator must be preserved at all costs. Oh, and occasionally a Q-drop is provided by the Anons (please re-read that). You are even making up words and meanings to somehow prove your independence from 8chan. That only isolates this thread. To quote James Watt...WUWT?
And, God forbid a troll shows up and gets meme’d or fact-checked by the wrong person. Then the scolding takes up more bandwidth than the replies to the trolls.
Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe some were tired of the ^unearned^ scoldings; tired of seeing newcomers/posters initially thought of as trolls; tired of the waste of bandwidth used for cloyingly-sweet fawning and self-aggrandizement that occurs even before any work actually gets done on Q-drops? This is not an opus. Free Republic is still the best “pure” news aggregator on the web. It is only “conservative” because JR allows for an open exchange of ideas in the comments.
I still lurk around here because my mind works by free association. I respond to/from ideas and thoughts from everywhere, qmap.pub, here, Qwivvering masses. What ever sparks a thought or aligns with a memory. I even string some of those together to form a relevant thought. Sometimes an entertaining thought. You might want to pause and assess the linearity of perspective that was created here.

This thread has been treading through quicksand since it was started..we’ve been through it all with all kinds of complaints and cries of malfeasance (My favorite: “You said Corsi is fat! I’m pinging JR!”). Finally, we’ve reached some sort of equilibrium, where the Qreepers can argue with decorum.
We all have to have a sense of honor and a sense of humor.
You’re a big part of the Q thread, so I hope you come back to your usual place among us, especially now as we’re getting into March Madness.

I do understand that - We had some people early on writing paragraphs to object to BKMARK for example-something easily ignored and easy to scroll past.
As for scoldings, Is it the person or the frequency? Seems to me the so called “scoldings” really come after a bunch of posts. The last dust up happened after a whole lot of posts. Also can happen when other FreeQs are responded to in a disresptful manner.
There are a lot of people that would prefer to stick to the news, but unfortunately Q does not post every minute, and the thread does wander then. Even RitaOK has managed to tolerate some food slides.
I think that everyone tries to get a long and make a contribution as well as being considerate for the most part. And Ransom has been a very diplomatic hostess.
Sometimes people express their dislike, and sometimes they express appreciation. I’m sad that you don’t like this place anymore. Enjoyed your posts. Have a good day and God Bless.
