That has, repeat HAS, to be hot cocoa in the middle.
With little nonfat marshmallows.
Residue was found in the old dump sites (as in “taking a”) in the dried up feces which showed humans had been on the menu, among the Anasazi. The archaeology had already shown that the society had gone through major stress with wall divisions inside the residences and such. And it isn’t limited to the Anasazi, by any means, not even counting the devouring of human hearts cut out vivisection-style by the Aztecs.

That would be the equivalent of LONG PIG, or would it be LONG PECCARY.
I’ve read (Bernal Diaz) that some of Cortez’ men were worried they may have eaten human sacrifice victims in the food they were given.
"The Daily Caller noted that in President Obama's best-selling memoir, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance, the president recalls being fed dog meat as a young boy in Indonesia with his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro.
"With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy)," the president wrote.
"Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths.
He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.""

Almost all the AmerInd tribes practiced some form of cannibalism. Usually a warfare related ritualistic form. For example: eat the heart of your enemy absorb his strength & courage.
Wilma didn’t want the cave to smell like fish
I’m pretty sure Neanderthals and Humans were on seafood diets... When they seen anything that looked like it may be food, they ate it. And then they ate each other if there wasn’t anything else to be seen.
I bet that there was not a trace of diabetes to be found among them.
Aha! So it’s their fault the glaciers began to melt 12k years ago...
This may be why coastal Portugal is the last known settlement of Neanderthals.
I think the reason they went extinct is staring us in the face. Homo Sapiens were better at getting food.
Consider:
Homo Sapiens came out of the African plains. They were adept at efficient travel over long distances. Neanderthals were very muscular and inefficient travelling long distances. As populations increased and food grew scarce Homo Sapiens used less calories to acquire food and therefore required less food to maintain themselves.
Homo Sapiens had deeper voices than Neanderthals therefore their voices traveled longer distances than Neanderthals. This provided a much larger area for Homo Sapien hunting groups to operate in using coordinated, self-supporting hunting tactics.
The Neanderthals simply starved to death.
From what I understand the Toltecs were the worst brutal offenders.
Started when digging clams became harder to find? Oysters in the shallow water? Nets with catch from the bottom other than fish?
Beans are often toxic if not cooked. Cooking transforms plant food sources to require less from a digestive system.
Beans can be toxic even after they're cooked, if you know what I mean.
Ha!
The Spanish were impressed by the Caribes!
Main food source was definitely meat: Pulled pork, brisket, bbq ribs and smoked turkey.
