Seriously, did our tax dollars pay for this?
wish the cold would kill off ticks & Lyme disease
Awesome
They’re inside now LOL
Winning! I hate those blasted things.
Greenie weenies should be happy, it means less wasteful flushing.
Trump’s fault! Impeach! Scandal!
Yep, did it kill all the damn ticks?
However each female stinkbug lays 400 eggs, so the population can be restored to the usual high levels in no time.
Finally, some good news.
In some places around Michigan, the BMSB invasion was worse than the box elder hatch.
BS! The stink bugs were invasive and tried this new place and the normal climate did them in. Also, after a few years, the local food chain figured out how to eat them. Birds don’t just start eating strange things, they slowly decide that new things are edible after assuming first that the bugs might be poisonous. Yes, discrimination as a survival tool!
Amazing how the climate hoaxers will latch on to anything and shape it to their needs.
“wish the cold would kill off ticks & Lyme disease”
Some bleeding heart liberal will protest the extinction of this species.
(Thanks to Tufts U. for releasing its samples into the wild in the 1800s after the caterpillars proved unsatisfactory replacements for silk worms.)
This weather is killing lots of ticks. After three years of warm winters, this one was overdue.
Here in NY state, stink bugs are everywhere the past two years.
They are an invasive species from China.
I always imagined that one extreme freeze-thaw cycle in winter, along with local predators learning this new food source - will get them under control.
Probably, and that's a good thing. Stink bugs are a serious invasive agricultural pest. Fortunately, really cold weather is very bad for them.
Damn! Cold weather kills bugs?? I had no frickin’ idea. See? Tax dollars for research projects really, really work!
I’ve been doing my part by throwing them out into the cold every time I caught one in the house.
Who leaves their stink bugs outside in the cold? How inhumane. 8>)
I’m sorry, but I envision a wife asking her husband “don’t forget to bring the stink bugs inside, it’s really cold out”.
