I tried to copy most of the article but stuff I didn’t select to copy kept pasting anyway. I kept trying to no avail, plus article is quite long. But WELL worth reading. Rosenstein may not be the devil he’s made out to be. For a long time my view is that he and Mueller are not working against Trump, but role playing. As Steven W. says, “TBD”....

What should have happened.
See if Abbot will declare emergency on TX border, if yes, Refuse to sign the bill, declare an emergency on the border, AND Include funding for the Government as part of the Emergency. Then seek a declaretory judgement in a Texas court that the Emergency declaration to build the wall is legal.
They will challenge the declaration, but will have to file in Tx to overturn the declaretory judgement. If they challenge the Emergency Declaration that includes Governemnt funding then they will be the ones who shut it down.
This incoporates ideas from several FR Posters in the last month. Not sure if this will work. but it would be interesting.

No problem! We had a real catch 22 a while back. Always paid cash; had no debt. Lived in a very rural farmhouse that we rented. Then it burned down along with everything in it. Believe it or not, it was rough getting a mortgage when you don’t owe anyone anything. LOL.
Good news...God provides. Bad news...we now have a mortgage.
