When I was 5 or 6, my father took me over to a neighbors house to see his hobby. It was building extremely precise house models. I was a kid but never forgot the excruciating detail.

If you are referring to Northlandz in N.J. we went there right after they opened and have been back several times since. The last time we went the exhibits were getting run down and it appears that the visitors have wreaked some havoc.

As far as I know, an "El" is simply elevated train tracks. That is what we called them here in New York City.
