Yes, I saw that happen here about late 2002, but: I saw contractors of all ages who were building new homes here use Mexicans. That was when Bush let Mex trucing companies drive anywhere in the USA vs 50 miles limit. The general contractor seems to want 2X to 3X the rate a Mex roofing sub he hires gets paid.
NO WAY!!!!!!!! My husband & I were talking the other night about how awful the SB halftime show would be & then agreed Maroon 5, horrid as they are, will never beat Nickelback in a worst band contest; )
So wish I could have seen bother the Eagles & FM back in the day.....
Both
“The album was one of the greatest rock albums of all time.”
We all have different tastes. Personally, I don’t think their music has aged all that well - but then I wasn’t ever a big fan.
The Cab Driver,
“ Get out of My Cab!”
One of many side busters!
Many a young buck found out the hard way not to mess with older WW2, Korea, and Vietnam vets. No doubt ditto for more recent vets. We don’t suffer fools gladly.
RUMOURS was one of the best albums ever. All others, sucked! (IMO)
I went to a Derek Trucks Band/Sue Tedeschi concert last year and had this same experience. I am unable to stand for long periods so I sat. That was fine for the opening acts...had a good view from the second to last row on the floor. But when Derek and Sue took the stage, everyone stood and stayed that way for the entire show. I stood for as long as I could but wound up sitting for the majority of the show.
Pissed me off royally. The audio was great but I went to see Derek's work on his Gibson SG. Didn't get to see much of that.
99% of people are a$$holes.
They make it hard on us, dont they.
That’s the age where they figure out a lifetime sentence is no longer a deterrent.
I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted and I won’t be laid a hand on. I do the same for other people and I require the same from them."

ROTFL.
I haven't forgotten and have seen the movie, "Gimme Shelter" a number of times. The Stones actually watch the footage in slo-mo in the movie. Very clear the black guy in the green leisure suit pull his handgun and was aiming at the stage when the HA stabbed him. Okay, they got one thing right.
However, their riding through the packed crowd up to the stage, an incident where some concert-goer accidently knocked over a bike, and the intimidation tactics on stage were normal behavior and Jagger should have known. The problem was the HA's were seen as super anti-heros at the time. The HA's also cause the Jefferson Airplane to leave stage after one of those pricks punched out a band member. That's when Jagger should have pulled the plug, even with lawsuits.
I was riding my Indian and Sportster 883 at the time and thought of them as the worse of the biker community. Later in the 90's after Navy I rode a WideGlide and RoadKing to various biker events/runs. Those a-holes, Bandidos, Mongols and other 1%ers were always glaring at anyone they thought they would like to rat-pack. Glad me and wife missed the Lauglin run the year the HA's and Mongols had the shootout at Harrahs. We used to ride to Harrahs just for a short ride from the our Edgewater Hotel.
I've since sold my WideGlide 2 years ago and the RoadKing years before. Been there, done that throughout my life. Had enough. Now I enjoy my 1958 Chevy Impala survivor.
That's because the illegals are taking those jobs. Build the wall.
Heck I would have preferred to hear his old Split Enz, or Crowded House songs than any of the FM songs.
Agreed.
I'm confident we smoked orders of magnitude more weed at rock concerts back in the old days than they do today.
