In California we used the term ‘beaners’. I’ve only heard it in that part of the country. Even in the late 90’s I heard California kids using it . I’d explain what it means but now that would be considered a first degree thought crime. It’s almost as if any group that predominately votes for RATs is privileged from any criticism.
There are quite a few of these that are unfamiliar.
I’m Los Angeles, Graduated school 1967.
Like the white cop on Sanford and Son.....
It's possible. There always have been regional variations in American slang.
I used to encounter that as an Army brat whenever we moved to a new base.
That's famous, Dude! Respect.
But nothing could ever compare with good old RAF Pilot Banter....

I am so over Watergate. Folks, never mention that to me again.
Nixon wasnt the purest guy on the planet, but he wasnt a traitor. He wasnt selling our soul to the highest bidder.
He didnt give missile technology to our largest potential enemy. He didnt give away the store on trade. He didnt take massive sums of money from the Russians.
He didnt arm and fund and arm global terrorist networks. He didnt bad-mouth the U. S. on global tours.
He didnt hand off strategic assets like the Panama Canal without so much as coffee over it, to see if we could work out a deal.
He didnt meet with the leading socialists on the planet and give them more respect than they deserved.
His meeting with China during the Cold War was for strategic effect. It wasnt like kissing up to Noriega, Hugo Chavez, or Fidel Castro.
Now a-days they act like nobody has ever been as evil as Nixon. I can think of tree presidents and a number of wanna-bees that are craven traitors.
Nixon isnt one of them.
Meh... They're all a bunch of freaking straights, man.
Maybe we should bring back ‘spaz’ and ‘faggot’.
I once had a coworker who was his ex girlfriend. Let's just say she didn't rave about him.
I grew up in Sacramento. I know what it means. But like I said my parents taught me to respect all races and backgrounds.
Speaking of McClatchy Newspapers laying off... I used to deliver the Sacramento Bee as a teenager and graduated from McClatchy SHS in 1977. Glad to see McClatchy Newspapers are getting what they deserve! I absolutely hated them.
I was smarter than all the adults when I was a kid, too.
What blew me away, is how much smarter they got as I grew older ;-)
Do you know who John Mayer is? Mayer reminds me of the Jackson Browne type.
I mean seriously. Three year old kids know how to use a smart phone better than I do today. Sad.
Maybe we could start playing “Smear the Queer” again.
You've got a mighty good memory for pop culture. I remember that, now that you jogged the old brain cells.
Now when I think about it, that’s when they started the trend of making all white men on TV look stupid.
That's famous, Dude! Respect.
Well, now it is, but we weren't a blip on the radar back in the day. Thank NWA for our notoriety.
