Whether or not either one of them signed any kind of contract, the child that resulted, the PERSON, did not agree to any of this. She deserves to know her heritage, her health history, etc.
The child is a person. My issue with donation, either eggs or sperm, is it is the commodification of the children that result.

See it from my perspective. There are thousands of unwanted embryos in frozen storage right now. I adopted one and she only has one birth mother, me. One father. No genetics necessary. She is perfect. She could have legally been destroyed but she got the blessing of being implanted and born.

Well, almost exactly. I'd change one thing.
It's not "donation," it's "vending." These are not eg/sperm donors. They are egg/sperm vendors.
