Cops have her collared well and good.
They're escorting her away with no problem.
Cop wearing a black helmet seems to be passing them by uneventfully.
Suddenly he violently swings with a collapsable baton, needlessly striking the girl in the back of her skull.
She collapses and needs to be dragged off.
Some people are speculating this could be a fatal blow, though I think she was "only" seriously injured.
In the screen capture you see her orange helmet falling forward as she begins to fall.
Arm of black-helmeted cop at left can be seen at the terminal point of his strike arc.

I dont know anything about French law, but in the US, If I was just gagging to give someone everything I own after a painful civil law suit (after probably a criminal case/conviction, too) that is totally how I would go about it. Pop someone from behind in the head with a baton.
There is a solid chance he literally cracked her skull for no reason. That is a criminal act. He should pay for that.

Jack boots do these kinds of things to instill fear. Not sure why the yellow vests would not simply follow what they did in 1793-1794 and be done with it.

Looked to me like it was to the back of the neck, not the head.
Back of the head can cause problems. Back of the neck is an easy kill shot. She’s lucky to still be breathing.
The cop was just walking by and took a totally unnecessary shot that could have killed that woman.
