Careful, that meme could get you accused of fascism. Fasces are a bundle of sticks that tied together is strong, hence the origin of Fascism in Mussolini’s Italy. Your point is valid. The old image of the snake sliced into parts representing the colonies, or Franklin’s statement, “We all hang together or we shall all hang separately” make the same point.
There’s nothing definitive that’s worth chasing more ... yet. But there is the scent of curiosity amidst. There is one guy on twitter I’ve posted things from before that always track these kinds of things ... I forget the handle now but I didn’t see any of his things in what I looked at so my first instinct was nothing ado about nothing (unusual) ... TBD ;)

Now seeing conflicting reports. Im gonna stand down on this one unless something dramatic happens.
The problem is that Democrats now know that Republicans can take a shutdown for 35 days before McConnell and the weak links decide that it has gone on long enough and tell Trump to end it. Democrats always hang together 100 percent. Unless Trump puts together a group of 1/3 of the House or Senate that is immovable, he will have to give in to McConnell.
Personally, even if he would lose, I think he should force Congress to override him, and issue a statement with his veto that he will personally work to replace any Republican who votes to override his veto. That will probably keep them in line. He plays too nice with the RINOs.
After reading Sperry’s comments above, I say precedent for sure, plus puts the stake in the heart of they Trump/Russia mythic tale.
