My only retort is who caused last ice age when Chicago was buried under several miles thick glaciers of ice? And who caused the global warming which followed to melt all that ice and form the largest body of fresh water on earth (the Great Lakes)?

Yes but they need to be challenged on that spin. They are still saying that the threat is the rising sea levels due to ice melting from the green house effect. In other words, WARMING. If there is no warming, the whole thing collapses. And so far, it aint looking too good for it, if you look at the data honestly.

You don’t even have to go back that far. Just a few years ago (like 10), some scientists found a bunch of abandoned Viking settlements in Greenland which became visible/accessible due to the glaciers melting back a bit. They were abandoned because it got so cold that crops wouldn’t grow...but BEFORE that, it was warm there. So warm that it was called “GREENland” - meaning that it was GREEN, i.e. there was abundant plant life there (and I don’t think that Leif Ericson was pulling a real estate scam on the rest of the Vikings...it isn’t a real wise move to screw a bunch of huge guys with swords).

Anyhow, WHY WAS IT WARM IN GREENLAND 1,000 years ago? Surely not because fleets of SUVs were causing global warming. Maybe it had something to do with that big, yellow orb in the sky? If so, we should tell the Leftist snowflakes to go there and tax it for contributing to Global Warming...they can land there at night, when it isn’t so hot. :>)
