Big Brother Digital License Plates Coming To A State Near You

Michigan became the second state in the country to roll out the world's first digital license plate.

According to an article in The Car Connection, the state of Michigan just approved Reviver Auto's digital license plates called the "Rplate."

Reviver Auto boasts that a total of five states have already approved their digital license plates.

"Our innovative, multi-functional digital license plate, the Rplate Pro, will be on the road in California, Florida, Arizona and Texas in 2018".

George Orwell could never have dreamed of a world where license plates became a tool for more government surveillance.

Digital license plates are a privacy nightmare for motorists.

No longer will law enforcement have to run your license plate to see if you paid your taxes and insurance, because now your license plate will display a big "X" notifying everyone that you are a violator. image: http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/images/ads/TCC_banner1.jpg

Digital license plates are the epitome of Big Brother surveillance

According to an article in WIRED, Rplates will turn vehicles into rolling Big Brother billboards that display Amber Alerts and much more.

This country would be a dreamland for Stalin and Beria. The stupid citizens buy, install, and maintain the equipment used for their own survelliance.

Or a more efficient way of doing what has always been done.

Government efficiency is bad when government is efficiently doing things that it shouldn't be doing at all.

About surveillance-

I just got my Virginia DL upgraded to the new TrueID..which is supposed to get you through airports faster, access to government buildings etc etc.
You have to start from scratch, birth certificate, 3 forms of ID etc etc etc.

Anyway, I figure the states are so afraid of muslims that I was going to leave my VN Vet hat on (for the picture) and claim it was my religion....
things were FINALLY going smoothly so I didn’t do the that...

Got my NEW license in the mail yesterday and there I am, SUNGLASSES and all - I ‘forgot’ I had them on - they double as my reading glasses - and the picture went through.

We were sitting around yesterday and I showed my ‘grand DL’ and the comment was made...

“From what I figure out about these new licenses, better speak clearly or in code as we are probably being surveilled”.

Funny part is, aside from a guffaw or two, NOBODY really ‘doubted’ the statement. <: <: <:

I suppose some time in the future it could become “free” and mandatory for everyone.
= = = = = = = = = = = =
Yeah, like seatbelts.....

remember they were introduced as safety (I really don’t deny that) devices that ‘should’ be worn and has worked its way up to kids strapped in the back seat -looking backwards.

Nothing better than to have a youngun in the car that knows you are there but can’t see you....

Maybe the long term goal is to ban ANYONE from inside a car that can’t drive it????

I haven’t ‘used’ K K for years now..She still looking fine<: <: <:

I laugh at how people want to ask their phone where the nearest gas station is, how much per gallon etc etc then click a button on the phone and it tells you where you have been the last few days, right down to the bar in a shopping center..(Another way for the boss to ‘spy’ on you if you have a company phone(if you care).

Yet, when ‘they’ see this entry they come up with

“HOW DARE YOU TRACK ME” etc....

Like back when ‘we’ screamed because our paychecks were taking 2 or 3 days to clear and the govt stepped in and demanded ‘instant clearance’ - the banks complied BUT since the method was in place, that check you wrote today, put in the mail and was deposited the next day or so usually gave you about a week to ‘float a check’ by the time it got back to your bank to get cleared.
Since the banks had the wherewithal to ‘clear your deposit’, they just started picking up bank work twice a day, transporting it to the NEAREST Federal Reserve or BANK HQ and that check you used to ‘float’ till Friday is suddenly hot the day it hits the bank..

Be careful what you wish for...

Sorry. I goofed that. The fair debt collection act prevents debt collectors publishing lists of bad debtors. But nothing on businesses posting the bad checks. There could be a defamation issue if the checks were forged (happened to a friend in the 1990s - thief stole checks, forged the name and bounced them all over town). But not illegal.
