Oh well, hey the Pats are showing their smarts by mostly running in this matchup.
If you were the Chiefs coach how would you prepare your offensive game plan?
Chiefs 1st in the pass vs Pats 5th against the pass.
Chiefs 3rd best running offense vs. the Pats 27th worst running defense.
Not rocket science.
Obviously the Chiefs should be running the ball most of the time. IMO, THAT is why they are behind right now. That and the fact the Pats braintrust did their homework and are running mostly against the Chiefs 2nd lousiest run defense in the NFL.
So far, it looks like the Chiefs brain-trust didn't pay attention to which offense game plan would reap the most benefit against the Pat's lousy 27th pass defense.
