I think you made my point. White ________ (fill in the blank) is being used to demonize whites, and it’s not a recent thing. I went to school in the 60s too. I didn’t like the attempts to pit blacks and whites against each other then either.
The term White Nationalist has not been used in any significant amounts for decades on the news channels. That crap in the 60s was part of the first attempts to demonize white people and divide people. Commies tried to exploit racial divisions to start a racial war.
The common terms that predominated were things like neo Nazis, skin heads, white supremacist. White Nationalist languished for many years. White Nationalist is an attempt to demonize white patriots-just like WHITE PRIVELEGE is.

I listened to Rush today but did not hear this. But for full disclosure, I did not hear ALL of his show. With respect to the "reduction in force" or RIF, I heard Rush say and rather enthusiastically that Trump (and us) need to hang in there a little longer as we are on the cusp of realizing the dream of ACTUAL downsizing of government. Rush was also all over the fact that the majority of the EPA staff is off duty right now.
There may indeed have been a caller of the nature described, but I would just guess that Rush may have cut him off only because Rush was so enthusiastic about what is transpiring with a potential RIF right now.
