I don’t think he walked into the mob. He was walking out of the mall exit doors. The mob was already there. He was trying to maneuver his way out of the mob.
You contradict yourself. You say he was trying to maneuver his way out of the mob. Why didn’t he walked back in the store? Instead he specifically and deliberately walked into the mob.

Unless, as has been brought up in this thread, he had a wife and daughter that was being attacked by the yoots.
