I picked this story up on reddit, there are several posters saying that the man was protecting his wife and daughter, hence the other white women in the video. They were being attacked by the mob of black girls.
There you go. I kind of wondered if his daughter was in that mix somewhere. And he was protecting her. If so then he gets a get out of jail free card.
You see the blond woman and approximately 4 year old child at the 3 second mark, on the left. If I'm alone, I might take a subdued approach. If my wife and kid are under threat by a pack of teens, I will take action to stop the threat.
In my opinion, anything less than forcefully taking down one of the pack leaders would not have made the pack retreat.
