He needs to get a dog thats a better shot. You call that a hunting dog!
I wonder if any alcohol was involved. Firearm safety didn’t appear to be very high on the list.
So, the shotgun was cocked and loaded with safety off?
I’m not looking down on anyone though, because those things do happen.
But sad, still.
How do you make a full recovery while missing a leg?
At least it wasn’t his nards.
Shotguns have hair triggers. Keeping cruiser safe or at least action partially open cruiser ready with safety on is a must.
Must be friends with Justice Ginsbergs doctor.
According to the article the safety was _____.
Button safety, easily stepped on and made unsafe.

Dick Cheney is always looking to join a hunting party.
A loaded shotgun in the truck bed. Got it.
I wonder if any alcohol was involved.
are you suggesting the dog was drunk - lol

I don’t think any of our shotguns could be fired by one of our dogs with the sequence of events reported here. But I wouldn’t let any of them jump on our shotguns anyway because obviously bad things can happen.
The dog is taking the rap for someone that was drunk
Thankfully the dog is ok.
Who leaves a loaded shotgun laying around like that? If it wasn’t the dog, it could have bounced around or fallen out and shot who knows who killing them.
Okay, now I'm confused.
Was gonna ask the same thing he will never “fully” recover unless he grows another leg.
