Alabama better have another tremendous finish up their sleeves
Posted on 01/07/2019 7:06:06 PM PST by Conserv
At half, Clemson is winning 31 to 16.
Alabama quarterback Tua has thrown 2 picks, and Alabama has missed an extra point.
Georgia Dawg... kind of rooting for the SEC, but it wouldn't kill me if they lost.

Most of this autumn we've been hearin' guys on here badmouthin' the Clemson defense to the tune of 'they'll never handle Bama's O line' etc etc etc.
Bet they're quiet tomorrow ;-)

Have you seen Hurts on the sideline tonight? I’ve not seen him.
To: Rebelbase
Haven’t paid much attention actually, sorry.

.. now that you mention it though, haven’t heard the announcers even say his name since pre-game.

Clemson Freshman QB and Freshman WR putting on a clinic. Love it. Saban has made some truly stupid calls tonight, like the fake FG running play (???) and the Tua run on 4th and goal.
To: Conserv
I don’t think that’s going to happen. It’s Clemson’s night and Clemson’s championship.

... at least ESPN got stuck with a crappy game.
And, if Clemson hangs 50 on Alabama, I’m going to be so embarrassed for the Tide.

Yep, Tua pulled and Jalen in. Not much difference on that series though.

I once thought I understood interference on pass defense, but now they allow so much contact to the back of receivers before the ball arrives, it’s not called as it use to be called.

What’s the point of putting in Hurts now?
Are we sure Clemson didn’t kidnap Saban and put in a look alike?

Crimson Tide gets soaked by a high tide
from all the tears shed in Bama tonight.
Dandy Don is about ready to sing: “Turn out the lights, ‘Bama’s party’s over.”

Huh? Sec didn’t even win more than half their bowl games. Big 10 won more than 50%.
