Here 56 miles south of Big D, we turn down the boob-tube sound and listen to Brad Sham call the Cowboys game on the radio--

Of course, you have to adjust the DVR to get the pic in sync with old Brad's call.

I’m a big Frank Reich fan going back to his U of MD days. Colts have a tall order next week with KC. But Andy Reid will find a way to screw it up.

That win just wiped out 40% of the topics of DFW sports talk radio.

No more calling for Garrett to be fired and suddenly all is great with Prescott. But truthfully, IMHO, if you make the playoffs and then win a postseason game, you have had a successful season. Only eight teams do that (maximum). The only way that is a disappointment is if you're an overwhelming favorite and blow it.

Did a double take there, Rummy, as I though you said "Frank Ryan." You didn't but I recall the old Doc (he had a PhD) led the Browns to their last National Football League title in 1964.

I thought the whole broadcast was horrible. Impy offered alternative audio offered by Amazon, but couldn't recommend the lady broadcasters since he's not into women.

In like manner - todays’ game: AFC: #7 Los Angeles Chargers at #6 Baltimore Ravens at 11:05 am MT on CBS, M&T Bank Stadium

Yet another close one which could be an upset especially if the Ravens do what the Seahawks did - not play to their offensive strength..

Game plan for the Ravens should be to mostly run. Trouble for the Ravens right there because playoff teams are always wanting to pass (except inexplicably last night with the Seahawks). Watch the Ravens’ QB - if his feet start going up and down like pistons, like a little kid when he has to go pee - if you see that too much, the Ravens could be in a pickle.

Game plan for the Chargers should be a balanced attack of both run & pass.

Prediction: Ravens win.

Here’s the match-up when the Ravens have the ball (2018 season stats):

Ravens’ Offense: .# 13 in scoring, ...24th in pass ydg, ..........12th in run ydg
Chargers’ Defense: # 8 in scoring, .....9th against pass ydg,.. 11th against run ydg

It is obvious from the stats above that the Ravens will do better RUNNING against the Chargers.
