It takes a more elevated palate. It is still quoted often in my family. As in when when kids ask for some gas money, Oops, I forgot my checkbook. I hope you dont mind if I pay you in change. Thats like a dollar an hour.

O. Henry was a writer of short stories known for their surprise endings. He was active in the late 1800’s and died in 1910. I’m not that familiar with his work. I know there used to be a chocolate bar named after him.
Can you explain how Stan & Ollie had an O. Henryesque ending
in this film?

Great clip. And that last line is a classic. I plan to use it often in the future.
My boss: You are underperforming. I’m taking you off this project.
Me: Is this some radical new therapy?

Certainly, spoiler notwithstanding.
The entire clip is delivering a piano to the top of a staircase, only to find out at the very end that they could have drove their van to the front door.

Post 84 before the first “Airplane!” reference? Surely Free Republic can’t be losing its touch.

Forgotten comedy that may be one of the most underrated movies I've seen:
Let it Ride (Richard Dreyfuss, David Johansen and Jennifer Tilly, 1989)

Most telling that none are recent. There is no such thing as funny these days. Imagine a remake of "Blazing Saddles" today: Take the original script and delete every offensive line. The remaining script would be shorter than most TV commercials.

"Space Balls" You folks are slipping. Throw Meathead out of the Top 10 and insert at #9.

That’s the version that’s shown on TV today.
It’s so edited, it’s not funny at all.
