I don’t know ... I guess I think Tuesday is soon enough. My excitement lies in the facts that 1) whomever GEOTUS picks for SoD would control the appointment of commissions to oversee any military tribunals so he can get exactly the right person for the task and 2) the possibility that said duties were operative in Mattis’ resignation ... either because he disagrees or because he has a different role to play going forward. Personally I think Mattis is 33 1/3 swamp and doesn’t want to play in the storm.
I just had a funny thought....what if he brought Sessions back to be SOD specifically for this?
Or Kelly moved from COS to SOD.....
Mattis’ choices would be called political by the media and parroted by the Dhimmi.
