Raking leaves and then handling them for removal is an exquisite waste of labor let alone the interruption of the natural course of incorporating vegetative matter back into the soil.
Mulch them.
Plan for the stumps?

I have a garden (Small) Full of flying organic material blown over from my neighbors trees and yards. Its mine now. It will be dirt in my garden next year.
