That is a shattering account. I pray for him... that he may be completely restored.
We have a terrible evil in the VA system. Thankfully, I have known of other vets who have had good treatment. But this eclipses their stories. This kind of thing should never ever happen to anyone.

I never understood the significance of the Blue Tiffany box.
It was a picture frame.
We learned that Michelle had a difficult time with being flexible and gracious. I assume that it was a gift for the Obama’s in which they could place a picture of themselves.
Thanks for posting the Zero Hedge / Medium article. Pretty interesting.

Here are some ideas perhaps you have not pursued:

Bob, I am sorry to be late in replying to your post. I started to reply, but decided to wait till I had more time to actually read them all.
Alas, given the length of the articles, and the busy time of the year, it kinda got lost in the holiday and new thread shuffle.
In 2010, we did quite a review of many sources of information regarding resupply of water. It included reading about some of these things. Including #1 on your list Atmospheric water generator, which at the time was quite expensive. So what we have done for our water conservation is:
We have our own well. Our area of the country has always had adequate rainfall in Spring and fall, but sometimes dry months in the summer. We like to conserve water - wells can go dry.
So we set up our air conditioner to collect water-it yields about 10 gallons per day. We also added guttering and collect rainwater in a 5000 gallon pool, along with several 55 gallon containers. Then we bought a big Berkey, just in case we need to turn the rainwater into drinking water.
In addition I have printed off instructions on how to build a solar catchment digging a hole and using plastic. I have instructions on how to use a pot of water to make distilled, and various other “dew” collection methods that are doable at home.
It is doubtful that we will need anything more than our well for drinking and pool for the garden, but I do intend to finish reading the links.
Thank you for the effort to direct my free time into reading something other than Q, but I have 10 paperbacks that are also calling, and my new Bible Study course. There simply are not enough hours in the day or night to do everything I’d like to do. LOL
Again sorry for the delay in responding. It was an oversight, but don’t feel bad, you are not the only person that I slip up and fail in responses, so it’s not personal.
Sorry if I over-reacted... of course: the holiday confusion.
It is a questionable technology and I imagine depends on heavy dews and the like. Just food for thought.
I’m good, if you are good. Thanks again.
Absolutely! Now it is me that is falling behind, late response here, struggling a bit lately. sigh
Good for you, Defiant.
You have Jacky Derp's approval.
