My trip to DC was a whirlwind trip, so much to see and do.
Got there Sunday night, Monday helped prepare dinner for my dinner party, dinner for 8, mostly woman from the Hill that I have known for 10 years, hadn’t seen them all for about 4 years, fun dinner and delicious.
Tuesday went to the Capital and had a private tour.
Rode the train that Congress and Senate members ride, beautiful carvings on walls along the way.
Had a tour of the Lindy Bogg suite, so beautiful and to think it used to be a storage room.
It is in Statuary Hall right behind the Barry Goldwater statue.

Saw the House Chapel, they have a beautiful stained glass window. Went on the Speakers porch, came through the doors the President walks through to get sworn in.View down the mall is amazing.
Got to sit in the House, saw how they voted and how votes are displayed.
So much fun and so interesting.
Then off to Georgetown, to shop, eat and get a haircut.
Next day he White House, totally awesome.
