I wonder who the people in tan jackets were. One appeared to be a white woman and the “vagrants” did step back, except for the one who ran out and attacked the cop. Those cozzes are very heavy and effective weapons, and I’m surprised that the cop didn’t try to fight back.
In NYC, a cop who fires his gun is practically on his way to jail from that moment, so don’t even think of that.

My grandfather was NYPD in the 30’s. They would have all been shoveled into garbage cans by the time he got through with them. LOL
Not in NYC these days you don’t. Cop would be hanging from deBlasio’s office window today. Stiil it seems they dont train or use these new batons the way they used the rosewood. In those times each of these guys would have taken a shot to the solar plexus with the point of the night stick.
