Thought you were going to play us something on the Steinweigh (are you still under there?)

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I'm here, Aqua!....dang! I forgot! I MEANT to.....does that count???

So many people have been playing "Chop Sticks!" AND I've been munching popcorn like mad!

AHEM.

*texokie takes her place in front of the Steinweigh and stretches her fingers. She sees herself on the stage as a much younger person, and dazzling one and all. The truth might be quite different from that, but that is what is happening in her mind. She hopes all enjoy the concert as much as she enjoys the wondrous sounds of the Qanteen Steinweigh*

Christmas Piano Music

The Christmas Music Program
0:00 - O Holy Night 3:25
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
5:14 - Auld Lang Syne
6:50 - In The Bleak Midwinter
9:39 - O Little Town of Bethlehem
11:34 - O Come All Ye Faithful
12:22 - Silent Night
14:31 - The First Noel
16:24 - God Rest Ye Merry, Gentleman
17:41 - Angels We Have Heard On High
19:44 - Angels Of The Realms Of Glory
21:39 - O Christmas Tree
23:14 - Away In A Manger
24:43 - We Wish You A Merry Christmas
The playlist then repeats.

*texokie envisions that her beloved FReeQs gathered around the Steinweigh are clapping and yelling and screaming and jumping up and down on the couch and tossing the popcorn in the air....oh, ok, ok....they are REALLY asleep! A few of them have even found their way to the place under the Steinweigh where the sound is so incredible, and are already well into their "long winter nap." Texokie grins and knows she will be sleeping in her bed tonight instead of under the Steinweigh*

*So she chooses this one to wake them up a little bit.*

"Tarentella" by A. Pieczonka

*Texokie checks her audience. They have roused a teeny bit and smile back at her.... and close their eyes again.... the ones under the Steinweigh roll over and go into visibly deeper levels of relaxation. The ones on the beanbags and the couches stretch and are also gone to the world. Texokie goes to the Qloset, which for a wonder, seems also to have succumbed to the hush in the Qanteen. She gathers up several blankets and quilts and covers her Friends up....as they have so often covered her*

Love to all of you, muh FReeQs! In the name of our Savior, have a very blessed nap and wake to a glorious Christmas Day!

*Texokie lowers the lid over the piano keys, flips the switch on the Qlock so it will not bong, and turns out the lights*

I’ll be playing Christmas music at my mother’s piano during my family Christmas gathering tomorrow. Been practicing almost every day on my piano. Have a good stack of music to take with. Better not forget my piano glasses or I won’t be able to read the music.

Merry Christmas

TEXOKIE,

Thank you SO much for your great story-telling, wonderful piano, and your amazing research. I'll speak for all the FReeQs and lurkers who may not post to you. (Maybe they're intimidated?!?)

Most jets can only run the after-burners for a little while. You, my FRen, run your after-burners all the time!

Like the song says, "Fire all of your guns at once and explode into space!"
