It’s about “time” on Afghanistan.
Literally.
The Taliban’s favorite expression: You have the watches, but we have the time.
This withdrawal could have been years ago, next year, 10 years from now or 100 years from now. Why not NOW?
My suspicion has been for years that we are staying there because of the poppies and the heroin. Someone is CASHING IN.
Incidentally, Russia still has lots of heroin addicts from their efforts in Afghanistan. Unlike American soldiers returning from Vietnam, they continued en masse the drug addictions they acquired there.

Can Trump make recess appointments to the courts or elsewhere during the shutdown?
I can’t believe that stuff, smiley. To me, he’s still a patriot.
My guess is yes, he can, since the Senate adjourned until Thursday.
“As talks dragged on between Congress and President Donald Trump over funding for his border wall, the U.S. Senate adjourned Saturday afternoon, with no plans to meet until Thursday.”

Twitter: There is NOTHING better than Christmas military reunions

Today, remember the heroes who are not able to be with their families on Christmas because they chose to serve.
Why do you worry about bandwidth that you are not paying for?
Q may not amuse you, and you may not take him/them seriously, but remember - this isn’t your forum, and while your opinion is expressed here , many of us will not be persuaded by your comments. We find Q interesting, provocative, and helping us to search through the fog of Main Stream Media propaganda, to find out what is really going on.
It might be a good idea for you to do the same .
In short, your opinion is just that, yours. Each of us have our own opinions, and while we respect your right to yours, we politely ask you to respect ours.
After all, it is possible that you could be wrong. What then?
They could both be there, but obviously, they did not want to be.
Re: your pic of Eyore..sorry, I find it very offensive. Try not to post stuff about suicide being funny, as I know very well that it’s not funny. Sorry bout that.
All of this makes me angry—the double standard is a threat to the rule of law and to our republic. We see double standards all the time in everyday life. And when you see it you know there is rot. The rot in the government is just astounding. Worse than I ever thought (and I’ve been called a cynic many times over the years).
I’m so grateful for POTUS and the Q movement. Without them I can’t imagine how depressed I’d be feeling. I’m still depressed but not as bad as it could be.
That hideous look would not work for anyone.

Reagan, Ford, Nixon, Bush 1...all buried at their presidential libraries. It's a thing...and it keeps out the riff-raff and guys who want to water their graves!
::Notice that Trump Capped Shutdown in his last tweet. I think it is relevant.::

What do you think it means?
I kinda think the 2000 Special Operators might beg to differ with the "not doing jack shit" and being only support personnel, but maybe that's what we're supposed to believe. I think it's great that they're coming home.
Something else to think about: If the Trumps stay in DC for the holidays, so do their staff. I bet there's about 188 Secret Squirrel families that are thrill to have parents home for Christmas.
Interesting that GHWB did not have the riderless horse etc. and was not interred at Arlington.

OK. Poorly written on my part. What I was really thinking about was the riderless horse, and the pomp that went along with Lincoln and JFK, and wondering if that was typical for those who had military experience, and how many of the former presidents had that- is it just the ones that got assassinated?
Those were not my words, but a quote from Brian Cates’ thread. I am sure that the 2000 Spec Operators were definitely doing a lot of whatever they did.
