You may be on to something here, styling19a, but the picture of the stone does not seem to match the one the POTUS was standing in front of. Is there a reason he would have two headers in Arlington cemetery? Would any of our military guys know about that?

Also, the religious symbol of Jesse Wade Stites according to the picture below on the group header, is not an Infinity nor a Christian cross, and I am unable to make out what it might be. The header with POTUS is clearly showing the Infinity. But also, the wreath does seem to hide what could be "Stites."

God bless each one of these who loved and honored our country so dearly. May we be worthy of their sacrifice.

On the multi-stone it’s the symbol for a Landing Eagle (page 2#52)of the symbol list - 2 over from infinity symbol.

thanks. I saw that. Plus the name is Jesse W on the marker.
All the other names on that large marker also point to that large marker.
They died 01/2012 but weren’t interred there until 10/2013
Jesse Wade Stites is the only Jesse Wade in arlington that I could find.

FWIW...My family plot has a plot marker with the all the names buried in the plot (about 30 graves some are buried on top of each other).

Each individual also has their own specific gravestone. Married relatives have both names on a larger gravestone.

The obscured gravestone in POTUS photo appears to have a 3rd line name and some of the etchings visible appear to match.
I also don’t see that large marker in any of the photos I could find during the POTUS visit.
Could individual markers be behind the large marker ?

An earlier post recommended for some one to go to arlington and check because the name is obscured. That would put this to bed.
