It says photo by Elizabeth Reed, which is kind of odd considering that famous song “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed.”

One of the pictures above looks to reveal some engraving beneath the name ‘Wade.’ Now it could be Lt. Jg., since you can make out a t and a j...but it could also be that Wade is his middle name and the obscured part is his last name.

Just back and thanks. Yes I didn’t look for enough pictures. Now seeing that the last name was partially obscured and is Stites. Backtracking and climbing out of dead end hole now. Thanks for dropping me the rope!

You may be on to something here, styling19a, but the picture of the stone does not seem to match the one the POTUS was standing in front of. Is there a reason he would have two headers in Arlington cemetery? Would any of our military guys know about that?

Also, the religious symbol of Jesse Wade Stites according to the picture below on the group header, is not an Infinity nor a Christian cross, and I am unable to make out what it might be. The header with POTUS is clearly showing the Infinity. But also, the wreath does seem to hide what could be "Stites."

Thank you for finding that! It looked to me like there was a last name there. The lettering was the same size as the upper two. Just couldn’t make it out.
