It will need to be protected by guys that trained to board and take sea-going vessels, which would mean SEALs. They would know the points of vulnerability, and could set up an excellent defense against boarding. I have no doubt that very powerful people have some very skilled people (with requisite equipment) on retainer.

This particular “craft” was used by the City of NY as a floating jail and was berthed across from Riker’s Island.
One discussion was whether this was currently in its berth.

However in taking a 2nd look at how top heavy it is, I wonder if its even stable enough to tow to Guantanamo. Unless its in some protected in something like a sea-going dry dock I don’t think its moving more than a few miles.

I think the original story may have been about some other ship or ships?
