Here is why I love our Qanteen! I was intrigued with the Yulee take on Flynn/Sullivan - and yet here we have a contrasting opinion - equally plausible and compelling from Defiant.

Thanks to both Yulee and Defiant for posting these approaches in thinking!

I think the judge really, REALLY wanted Flynn to agree to a delay in sentencing today. He was mean to Gen. Flynn as part of that, telling him “hey, you might get jail time if we go ahead with it today, you traitor!”. He realized that he went too far with the traitor part, and apologized for it right after.

The question is, why does the Judge now NOT want to sentence, after pushing for sentencing the past 8 months or so. Does he want more info about Mule’s tactics and violations, as Sara Carter says? Or just want more cooperation from Flynn before deciding on a sentence, as Tom Fitton said? Or both?

Sullivan is hard to read. He is a crusty old DC judge who did the right thing for Senator Stevens, who was a swamp guy, so it may not mean he is anti-swamp, just that he thought they went too far in that case. He is the judge, if I remember correctly, who refused to dismiss Mueller’s witch hunt for being unauthorized under US law and the Constitution. He sees that Flynn is not guilty, and was set up, and that is bothering him, but not enough to attack Mueller’s entire operation.

I believe he KNOWS he isn’t getting all the information and is being deceived by the SC. After all, NONE of what he is being charged for has a thing todo with Russia.
I think he finds that all quite insulting.

I was once told, while waiting for a judge to arrive, by my lawyer, also a judge, that a judge is never late.

I would suspect that being lied to would be equally bad as accusing them of being late.

Apologies if this has already been suggested. I’m way behind with little time to post due to family holiday matters. All good.

Anyway, I suspect that the Flynn sentencing is intended as a signal. Maybe it’s a signal to start unsealing sealed indictments and/or round up some perps. So all of the maneuvering as to which day he is sentenced might be the Q team adjusting to conditions based on when they want to trigger some event(s).

Just my guess.
