Anathema and even ecommunication do not result in "Go to Hell, Go directly to Hell, do not pass Go, do not collect $200."

A number of canonized saints at some point of their lives were under anathemas or excommunication, including St. Joan of Arc, St. Mary McKillop, St. Hildegard of Bingen, St. Athanasius, and if I recall correctly, St. John of the Cross (Juan de la Cruz).

I am sorry to say it, but you know so very little about "Rome" which you say "does it all the time (damn people) with their anathemas."

You really ought not to venture your wince-worthy words of wisdom about what "Rome" does or does not believe.

Tell uS what you believe. You ought to be an expert on that,

But for the 348th time, do not tell us --- CATHOLICS --- what we believe.

It is just tedious.

Thank you.

Tell that to all of the non-Roman Catholics who have been told exactly that over the years.

Tell that to a Roman Catholic who may not agree with everything Rome teaches.

I am sorry to say it, but you know so very little about "Rome" which you say "does it all the time (damn people) with their anathemas."

You're saying to those of us who reject the following that we're not "damned" forever....in Roman Catholicism though not Christianity?

Furthermore, we declare, we proclaim, we define that it is absolutely necessary for salvation that every human creature be subject to the Roman Pontiff.

Not even Roman Catholics, I think you included, agree with this statement from the pope.

You really ought not to venture your wince-worthy words of wisdom about what "Rome" does or does not believe.

Tell me if I am wrong about Unam Sanctam....not the revisionist history but what the pope was claiming.

Tell me if I don't believe the false marian dogmas that Roman Catholicism doesn't "damn" me.

You argue from the false position that only a Roman Catholic can declare what they believe. That is patently false. Any apologetic must first understand the position of the other side.

You don't like what I say about Roman Catholicism because I compare what Rome says and what Scripture says to illustrate the vast gulf between the two.

Roman Catholics don't like when I do this. I can understand why.

It sheds the light of Truth on Rome's false dogmas.

So; what DO you believe in these matters?
