And no, I'm not saying all of this because I'm Catholic. I've been following the saga of Cardinal George Pell for over 20 years.
Pell is 110% conservative and orthodox, and Francis despises him. Francis removed him as the lead bishop in Austrailia and moved him to the Vatican investigating the finances/Vatican Bank (which is supposedly part of why Francis was elected) so that he could replace him in Australia with someone extremely liberal.
He though Pell would do an incompetent job because Pell had no experience in that area. But Pell found massive irregularities with the Vatican finances in spite of it.
Francis then killed the audit Pell had initiated that was being done by an international accounting firm, which also found massive irregularities.
The final straw was when Pell and his forensic accountant issued a memo about an irregularity, ordering the process be changed to prevent it from happening again.
That's when he was hit with 40-year old sexual abuse charges back in Austrailia.
At exactly the same time, Francis fired the forensic accountant.
One of the accusers (obviously an adult by now) repeatedly swore before he died that he and the other accuser had lied about Pell abusing them, but the police and prosecutors ignored him.
Does Q know any of these details? And don't give me that "Q has everything" crap. I doubt he has bothered to get to the bottom of this along with Pell's history (because he doesn't think it's important enough), and is solely going by 1) Pell was #3 in the Vatican, so he's automatically bad, and 2) all priests accused of molesting children are guilty.
If this is how superficial the Q team is, I fear for The Plan, because they are obviously not thorough with details on everything and are too quick to judgment. I'm concerned that sort of lack of insight will affect the plan adversely.
And yes, I'm horrified and angry about Pell's conviction, and incredibly disappointed in Q. There's no excuse. Everyone who knows Pell knows he's innocent. I would stake my life on it
Take a step back and look at the drop again. Q only brought it to our attention and pointed out the (Vatican) political importance. Everything else you implied about Pell and Q and Franky was spun from your own bias.
Relax. Take a deep breath. Perspective.

I’m ignorant on the topic of Pell, so have not formed an opinion on the subject.
Consider the possibility that you are correct that he’s innocent, that he was framed by the DS. It would not be a surprise to me that Q pretends to go along with the frame up and will use this at a future time to bring down those who actually are corrupt.
Lots of talk about whistleblowers lately. Pell could be one of them.
In either case, I’m confident that Q is going after the dirtbags and protecting the innocent.
The jury was unanimous about convicting Pell.
That’s worth thinking about.

I am sure Q is well aware of this, as I had already found out the case was highly suspicious based on 5 minutes of research. In fact I almost posted a caution flag about taking this conviction at face value, but felt sure that more knowledgeable voices would soon step in, which you did.
I understand your reaction; but, it is much more likely the Cardinal has found important allies in POTUS/Q than new detractors.
Remember how the President initially gave credence to Dr. Fraud’s testimony before publicly committing himself to Justice Kavanaugh’s defense. It’s his style.
I was shocked as well. Still, allegations alone, with blood thirsty biased press shaping opinion, and absolutely no proofs whatsoever allowed to squeak out. This is Bergoglio’s doing. Purging the Traditional Catholics, at every turn, is the Agenda. Destroying Tradition is primary.
