Or quote books Bags.

But books are so......bookish.

I made a post earlier with the video of the scene even.

Okay, short version for the movie impaired.

Frankie Five Angels Pentangeli was an upper level New York mobster working for the Corleone family (GodfatherII).

He grew dissatisfied with Michael Corleone after Vito croaked. Then Michael tried to whack him and failed. So he turned rat and got all the way to a Senate hearing with his ratty ways.

But Michael countermoved by bringing his brother from Sicily to the hearing. Frankie saw his brother and recanted his snitch document and Michael was off the hook. Case closed.

Tom Hagen, Michael's one time consigliere (counselor) went to visit Franky in the witness protection program on a military base. They spoke of old Rome, and how when someone fell out of favor, he was offered to have his family taken care of (in a good way) if he took himself out. They would get in a bath and open their veins.

So Franky did this right under they noses of his security detail. BOOM.

Anyway. My theory is this is what happened to old Poopy. He was dangling by a thread anyway, so he decided, or it was decided for him, to go out on a particularly strategic day. In fact the best of all possible days for the derps for just this particular purpose. To head off D5.

There is a chance as well, that he had croaked prior and they "Weekend At Bernie'd" his ass. They are liking that strategy I think (McCain).

Q has hinted as much, and I thought that from the moment he croaked. Q confirms my suspicions.

I like the Frankie Five Angels theory best. I think Poopy would consider that loyal and he didn't have anything much to live for anyway, he was jacked up.

So there. I put an end to my cryptic Frankie Five Angels quips.

Frankie only thought Michael tried to have him whacked, that wasn’t so.

Let’s not go all Fredo smart...

Michael did not try to off Pentangeli. It was Roth, makin it look like Michael.

The only Pentangeli part I like that relates here is his plea to Michael about the Rosatos “Look, let’s get ‘em all — let’s get ‘em all now, while we got the muscle.”

we no longer got the muscle.

It disturbed many.many people when it was made evident that the elder Bush had partnered with Bill Clinton even to the extent of referring to him as “my son”.

B Clinton was known to have said of the Mena drug running “That’s Bush’s deal”. B Clinton was AR Governor at the time and is presumed to have paid to look the other way.

My suspicion is that B Clinton’s criminal network had the goods on GHWB and blackmailed him inito submission. Not too farfetched when considering and as affirmed by Q that the Clinton crime family keeps their power through blackmail.

That’s good but I like Cletus’ idea about GW having had him in the deep freeze for an indefinite period of time like a card he could use, and now pulling out for his bone brother Combeyover.
