It disturbed many.many people when it was made evident that the elder Bush had partnered with Bill Clinton even to the extent of referring to him as “my son”.

B Clinton was known to have said of the Mena drug running “That’s Bush’s deal”. B Clinton was AR Governor at the time and is presumed to have paid to look the other way.

My suspicion is that B Clinton’s criminal network had the goods on GHWB and blackmailed him inito submission. Not too farfetched when considering and as affirmed by Q that the Clinton crime family keeps their power through blackmail.

Recall again the coward GHWB's remarks about pushing back on the Clintons during the campaign: "Wouldn't be...prudent"
*I* thought it was odd enough at the time ("current President &former head of the CIA,what's *he* got to be scared of, gotta be a mistress"). And IIRC, even Doonesbury had a reference to the line.

Conceivable. However, I think it’s more likely that the Bush Crime family ‘hired’ the power mongering Klintoons to play the roles they have played.
