Your friend is acceptable collateral damage from the machinations of cheap labor express Republicans and population replacement Democrats. I know a nurse who was seriously whacked with a "mysterious" illness that was close to breaking her, but a fortunate intervention by a doctor who happened to talk to her in passing figured it out. He tap-danced around why this crud was showing up, but spilled the beans anyway. Bacterial acts of love from south of the (nominal) border.
There are plenty of people in the health care industry who know about disease epidemics rampant in the midwest that can be vectored right to "guest workers" and "asylum seekers," but they clam up real tight about it or get vague PDQ when pressed. There have been many instances in this area when a teacher and one or two students are all that show up for a grade school class because the rest of the kids are all down with "something" that won't go away for weeks.
"Flu-like symptoms" "viral infection of some sort" and "it's going around" meet "nothing to see here." One wonders if the various bleeding-heart HC industry associations issue instructions on how to obfuscate.

Recently, a woman called up Hannity and started complaining about the diseases the aliens are bringing in.
“I’m not worried about the diseases,” Hannity quickly cut her off and dropped her call.
It is strange to me why the diseases these people are bringing in are off limits for discussion for all conservative talk show hosts other than Michael Savage, and ALL Republican politicians.
The re-introduction of diseases long eradicated in the United States and the introduction of new diseases by immigrants is an enormous catastrophe that remains carefully hidden by our leaders of all stripes.
Speaking as a genuine migrant to Australia as a child, I still remember the blood tests, the Xrays, the thorough health checks we all went through before we were able to leave Europe. We still have the application documents for migrant status, accompanied by the local police reports as to our bona-fide background.
