I have liked Christie since I first saw him deal with reporters. He has guts. There is a big deal made here about him hiring a Muslim or two. I grew up in a Muslim neighborhood and there are at least 25% of Muslims who are good and decent and not into terrorism. Most criticizing Christie for hiring a Muslim never had a close friend who was Muslim, like I had in high school and college. Christie would be very good as AG because he is one of the very few with guts to do what needs to be done at DOJ.

I had some good Albanian friends (whom as a group I REALLY dislike on Staten Island) who were muslim, but they weren’t much follower of the religion.
Though Tony and Elisa couldn’t get married because his family wouldn’t “let him” marry a Catholic.
They were very in love but he wouldn’t give up his family.
I had the same situation with a Jewish girl and we were in love but the father said she was disowned if we married and I wasn’t gonna let that happen.
It is what it is sometimes.
