I think we need a lefty black robed tyrant to retire and another conservative appointed to SCOTUS. Don’t feel like SCOTUS is Locked yet. Especially with Chief Justice recent statements.
Trump has said he might be able to appoint “3 or even 4” justices. We currently stand at half that goal.
Thinking through things gives me this possibility. Trump will be able to replace a retiring/dead RBG. That makes one more. Kagan and Sotomayor are not in good health but I don’t think they will give up their spot easily. So, who is left?
All it will take is one “bad” vote against the DS for the “dirt” on CJustice Roberts to come out, he will thenceforth be identified as [CJR]. Given the right circumstances.
