The custom chairs for the ladies is an interesting touch. Cant recall it prior
The Argentine first lady and Melania could pass for sisters.. they both have such a flair for fun and classy attire. Funny how we think of many of these countries as third world.
The one oriental lady with the patterns on her white jacket. Like it All the first ladies look very nice. Even the two muslim gals have attire that is attractive. They are however outshined by the couple that are true fashion plates.
NIKK, I recall you sleep in a chair for comfort.. My dad also did for about 10 years with his congestive heart failure. He would on occasion go up to sleep in his bed but had it wedged up so he could have the proper position.
The night he died in his sleep, he was in that bed...

My beloved Freeper sister maica and I joined the hundreds of thousands who lined Constitution Avenue when the casket of Ronald Reagan was carried by horse drawn caisson along Constitution Avenue to lie in state in the Capitol. It was very moving.
The media was stunned at the enormous outpouring of affection for Reagan when he died. Even though he won 49 states in the 1984 election, they probably didn’t associate with anyone who had voted for him.

When my husband had his bleed in the brain in 2001 and in rehab for 1 month that was the first time I had been alone at night. I started listening to my little portable radio on the talk station. I have had it going ever since then. I have read that TV going is not good for you because of the flashing of the light that takes place.

Iirc all president’s plan their funerals soon after taking office. They may amend it throughout but it’s planned and all songs, speakers, scriptures, burial location are approved by the POTUS years in advance.
