NASA sources revealing that the space rock could end up engaged in not one, but a staggering 62 different potential impact trajectories with our planet each of them waiting to sling the asteroid toward Earth over the next 100 years.
Known as asteroid 2018 LF16...
The first of these unnerving opportunities arises just five years from now occurring on August 8, 2023. Other potential impact dates in the near future fall on August 3, 2024, and on August 1, 2025.

First of all this is a tiny asteroid. Large meteor perhaps
One article wrote. Its current best orbital parameters leaves it entirely outside of Earth’s orbit, and there are no predicted encounters that would change its orbit in the near future
Yes. We keep an eye on this one. We must continue to look for the BAD ones.

In a few years, maybe we’ll be at the point where we can grab one of these as it’s zooming by and mine it for useful minerals and metals.

Damn. And the DNC’s “media” toads aren’t forecasting America to go “full majority Hispanic” until 2025. I guess I won’t have to learn Spanish after all.

At this point, it would be merciful if it were big enough.

What difference does it make at this point? According to Algore, we’ll all be drowned from global warming by then anyway.

50 Megatons was the explosive force of the Soviet Tsar Bomba test; the largest man made explosion in human history. The Tunguska event had an modern day estimated yield of 3 - 5 MT. The damage from Tunguska was so extensive because all the energy was directed downwards. This asteroid would not be a planet killer but it could easily destroy a city if it exploded in an unlucky spot.

How do they know the future trajectories of future objects that are hit by other future objects at some point and both have their future trajectories changed.
Just feed the data into the climate change models, they can predict anything accurately....Duh!
